Qustion about OBC and TA

I'm considering booking a HAL cruise for Nov. 2015. They are offering OBC if booked by July 31. If I go ahead and book with HAL and then later transfer the booking to a TA will I lose the OBC from HAL?

No -- you get to keep the shipboard credit even when you transfer your booking.

Recommend that you ask your TA about them doing the initial booking and also getting the OBC from HAL - we have had the pleasure of 1 booking with our TA and all HAL perks on more than 1 occasion. Also, I watch the discount web sites for things like extra OBC, fare discounts, etc. and our TA has been able to match whatever we can find as an added perk.
