Zuiderdam- midship or aft?

I'm going with a Cat. S suite, but need to decide midship or aft. We like the idea a a large balcony, but will we miss the bigger room? Do the balconies in the aft get more sun?

Take an aft S Suite for sure! You get a huge balcony and the ever so slightly smaller room won't make that much difference at all. Enjoy! :)

It's our personal choice to always take a mid-ship "S" but the aft Suites do get more sun. We like sun fine but there are more upsides for US with the mid-ship than just having more sun in the aft. We get the morning sun and it's lovely having our breakfast on the veranda in the Caribbean and then go to the pool for 'sunning'.

 

There seems to be an even number who prefer aft to those who prefer mid-ship....doesn't seem to be too many who want the far forward Suites.

We have had both. The aft was our favorite by far so we recommend this.

Since the Neptune lounge means nothing to me, when available I have always chosen 8135, rear left [if you're looking towards the rear]. Like both the overhang not being a sun person and have never felt over crowded in the smaller cabin.

We loved our corner aft suite on the Zuiderdam, we had suite 5187. The balcony his huge and the cabin itself was, IMHO, large and comfortable.

I know this question was asked before, but since I'm surprising my husband for his 40th this year, I'm trying to make all of the "right" decisions. Thanks again!
