joyfulone Posted June 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2014 You would definitely need to tip if you ordered after midnight and before 6am. As to the currency, that would depend on the cruise ship you were on, if it's Celebrity (as you are on the Celebrity forum) they deal in US$, so I'm sure the crew would appreciate that currency. Enjoy your cruise and welcome to CC. Sent from my iPad using Forums

You have paid your tips up front already so you do not have to tip any extra for anything including room service at anytime of the day or night, that being said many people do tip extra but that is totally up to you to decide, for room service a pound or 2 would be acceptable, the staff are happy for any amount and expect nothing We have always given English pounds or euros when we have tipped over and above and it has always been gratefully received, especially if we sail from Southampton. If we had dollars then we would tip that, at the end of the day money is money and they can change it if they want to Enjoy your cruise :D
