View obstructed balcony on Glory?

Hello fellow cruisers -

 

I am looking to book a balcony stateroom on the Glory for July and the guaranteed rate is about $80 cheaper than the rate that lets me choose my cabin. In the fine print it discloses that "views may be obstructed" when booking a guaranteed room.

 

My question is.. are there any Balconies on the Glory (or any other conquest class)that do indeed have views obstructed? If so, how can I tell when booking (if choosing the room) which balconies have a partial or very little view?

 

The $80 is not a great savings, but it is something. I just don't want to chance booking a guaranteed balcony and end up with a crappy view.

I don't believe any balcony on the glory is obstructed. I know there are some on the spirit class ships. I have sailed the glory, and there were no obstructed balcony rooms

We did guarantee balcony on our up coming July 13th cruise on the conquest. And got midship cabins on deck 8 for less than lower category cabins. So we got lucky

Personally, I would spend the $80 and pick my cabin. With a guarantee, you never know what will be above or below you. It could be a nightclub that closes at 2 am or a galley or a theater.

If there is any cabin you would not want, do not book a guarantee. it is worth the $80 not to have to worry about what you will have when you board. And cabins can be assigned at boarding.
