Thinking about this S1 for our Alaskan cruise next year. It's between this and 6131. I know the obvious pros-cons. Anyone on here been in either of these cabins in Alaska? Seems like cold wind would be an issue in 6131.

6145 decor like the Penthouse next door, but smaller balcony door and less light in the cabin? Of course unable to predict if the Penthouse occupants would be playing the piano or not....

CaludiaB,

We had 6146 on our recent Panama Canal Cruise. The stateroom was exceptional, bathroom was decorated exceptionally, and the decor of the room was outstanding. The balcony was large, it accommodated two loungers, a table and two chairs. Regarding the small balcony door, plenty of sunlight streamed and the room was never dark during the daytime. We were invited in by the temporary residence of the Penthouse, and that suite was unbelievable. That will be our next suite on a future cruise.

Only twice did we ever hear the piano, but it was muted, never an annoyance.
