Does anyone know if you wait inside or outside Pt. Canaveral to embark...we'll be on the Liberty. We have embarked in Jacksonville and Galveston and those were outside. Thank you!:)

How early did you arrive at jax and Galveston? How early do you plan to arrive in port Canaveral? If you get there before 9am you will be standing outside. By 10:00ish they normally open the doors

The port terminal building is air conditioned. You are called from there in zone numbers to board. You enter air conditioned areas of the ship through various passageways {think mouse looking for cheese} :) finally arriving at the gangway, still air conditioned.

Once on-board you can stay in the air conditioned passenger general areas of the Liberty or proceed to open decks. Open decks are what they sound like, naturally are not air conditioned.

Enjoy your cruise!

In April when we were in Port Canaveral to board the Carnival Dream for the repositioning cruise we waited outside for way over an hour just to get inside the terminal.

It was by far the worst embarkation that we have ever experienced

We got there early just before 11am. Only a 5 min wait in line, wait for zone to be called in air conditioning. About 11:20 they came around with water and snacks giving them out. At the time we all looked at each other and said it looks like a long wait. But within 10 min or so they started calling the zones. We were zone 2 and onboard in no time.

It was one of the easiest embarks ever.
