IdahoCruises Posted July 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Thinking of booking for Alaska next year. Any pros or cons? Seems like the location may be quiet, not far from the Horizon Court and pools. Close proximity to elevators...

Close proximity to elevators... Just make sure that you book a cabin that is forward of the elevators. Much less traffic that way. I do like Lido cabins. :)

nbc Posted July 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Really liked our Lido Balcony L304 on the Crown. Just around the corner from the pool and buffet and near the elevator as well.

Thanks! My impressions as well. Don't want to book unless people are pleased with it. We usually stay in minis or suites (been upgraded to suites twice). For two of us...this just seemed a comfortable place to be...

CU64 Posted July 8, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 8, 2014 I agree! Thank you for your posts. I would have kept my Lido 230 on the RT 15 day Hawaii out of LA in April but thought the seas might be rough and weather cold, et al......decided to plan for that possibility. + now I have the BT (: Read ALL the posts on E722 about possible noise. Not worried. First cruise to Alaska on Diamond was L200......great cruise & A+++ weather
