can anyone tell me where I might access free wifi or free wifi with purchase in Nassau and Freeport?

 

our initial plans for Nassau are to go to Junkanoo Beach and our plans for Freeport are to go to Grand Lucayan resort. Is there wifi at either of these locations?

 

I will be taking an online class this fall and may need to upload assignments while we are on the cruise. :p

Well I usually don't tell folks my little secrets I have learned in port. But I feel generous this fine Florida morning. So, carefully follow these directions to free wifi.

 

After leaving the cruise terminal building go to your right and walk towards Straw Market. Go through Straw Market and you will be on Bay Street. Cross to the other side of Bay Street and go right until you get to Navy Lion Road (aka Cumberland Street). Take a left and you should see a DUNKIN DONUTS at the southwest corner of Cumberland Street and Marlborough Street. (Careful crossing this street it seems that cars are coming from every direction.)

 

To get the free wifi code you have to buy something (donut, coffee, water, BR Ice Cream). The speed is pretty good, however, a lot of cruise employees can be there sucking up the bandwidth. We have had no trouble with speed and its a good place to sit and take a break.
