I don't mind sharing:D I got the deal of a lifetime on my upcoming Dream cruise. Cove balcony SOLO with taxes included $213.15. Subtract the $50.00 shipboard credit...total $163.15 for 7 days. $23.30 a day:eek:

We paid $179 per person for our 6 night Breeze cruise.

The agent assigned us a deluxe oceanview on the second deck. Having two bathrooms was so nice.

Loved the Breeze!

Paid $406 total for two people on the sunshine. Balcony 8188. This was my casino rate. And got $100 OBC.

Sunshine 7/26, Balcony deck 8 midship, $240pp with taxes and $100 OBC, net $380 for me and the wife

Just booked Triumph 4 day October 30, 2014. Solo 4j lido cabin. Thanks to casino offer total $54.46 with $100 waiting for me in casino so they are giving me $45.54 to take this cruise almost enough to pay gratuities. Still can't believe it! So excited.

Those are all phenomenal deals. What did you have to do to qualify for them?

It was a casino offer..have had others but this was my first free cabin offer with cruises at my homework of Galveston.. only live about 30 minutes away. They had an eligible cruise for all 5 itineraries from port ranging from 4, 5, or 7 days. Unfortunately because of time September October or November could not take advantage of 7 day Magic...but still very grateful for my 4 day. Cozumel is my favorite port! So call your PvP and have them check your desired departure port for eligible cruises. Good luck.it was kind of hard to look on your own especially when I added my video #.

Past guest rate on the Sensation 3-day Nassau cruise, $239/person interior. Total with all taxes and fees plus pre-paid gratuities was $676.42, or $338.21 each. Booked just 3 days before sailing and got to choose our own cabin, porthole cabin on the main deck. I thought this was a good rate, what some of ya'll are getting are just crazy cheap!

Initially we paid $429 each for an inside cabin, then moved to a balcony ($75 more each). Today I changed from our balcony to a pack and go rate for :D :D $429 each LOL so we ended up in a balcony for the same price we originally paid for our inside and ended up with $150 each obc.

I took the plunge a day to early, yesterday the pack and go rate dropped to $409  called my pvp to see if she could work her magic but unfortunatly she couldnt... bummer!!

I keep asking and no one replies, How do you have an interior window?

There is a "secret" deck - in the front of the ship - the rooms have an obstructed view but you can see the sky. When you search for interior rooms on a cruise, if available, it comes up as an option. (Interior with Picture Window).

1566 after taxes for two in an Balcony guarantee as a pack and go rate for 9/6/2014 on the Freedom out of Miami.

Well I am also booked on the 9/6/2014 Freedom cruise but departing from Ft. Lauderdale and not Miami! (I hope since already booked hotel)

Booked the Sensation for 3 days for my son and I and paid $602 total, gratuities not included and $100 credit in the casino. Ok deal for this time of year but I've done 5 day at a cheaper rate in March. Some of these deals are amazing and I'd love to know your secrets!!!

My last cruise was on the Valor (7-day Southern), and it was $350 before taxes and fees for a solo interior room. The one I've got booked on the Breeze in December is $699 plus taxes/fees for a solo cove balcony. I like cruising with Carnival, but only for cheap, lol.

Well, call me gullible.

I am ashamed to admit what I paid because you will all think I must be the stupidest cruiser out there.

No perks, no nothing and going solo. I did get an extended balcony though. Let's just say it amounts to about a down payment on a new 2015 Honda CRV.

Hmmm, New Car? Cruise? New Car? Cruise?

All I can say is I am not thrilled with this cruise, it may be my last. That or finding one of you to help figure out the pricing strategy.

Don't beat yourself over it....just enjoy your cruise.

Our first cruise I paid $2800 for a mid ship balcony on the Triumph. 5 day cruise for 4 people. I was happy as could be. This year we are on the Magic, 7 day cruise, a spa balcony for 2 and a spa interior room for 2. $2700. In hindsight we paid way too much for the Triumph. But we liked it enough that we cruised again, and I learned a lot on that first cruise. I consider it tuition.

That said, it is clear that solo cruisers have a tough time with the pricing, and likely will until they build ships with cabins that sleep only one.
