What happens to pre purchased gifts if you cancel cruise ?

If I send someone an onboard gift , or pre purchased something for our cruise ( flowers, coffee card for example), what happens if we cannot go on the cruise and have to cancel ?

I bought flowers and then cancelled a Princess cruise earlier this year and the money was refunded.

Sorry to hear that you had to cancel a cruise.

When you say refunded, do you mean that they had billed your credit card as soon as you ordered the flowers?

I've bought an obc gift for someone. yes my credit card was charged right away. when they had to cancel the cruise, my credit card was refunded.
