Transportation Hotel to port

I got a great rate for a nights stay at the Ramada Plaza Hotel near the port. They don't have a shuttle to the port. Is there one to hire or will a taxi have to do. Thanks

Which port? Which city? There are Ramada Plazas in New York, NJ, Florida, etc.

You're on the same Cape Liberty Explorer repo cruise as I am for Nov 1. cateyes2u asked this same question on the roll call and I advised her to contact Independent Driver and set up her own shuttle. She has done this for the hotels on Glimcher Realty Way for Embassy Suites, Courtyard Elizabeth, Residence Inn, and Country Inns and has had a good response from the roll call.

 

Why don't you contact Independent driver - 888-816-0973 and do the same thing. Once you get to 4+ people you should be able to negotiate a deal for about $12/pp. They typically don't take reservations until 4-6 weeks out. I know there are others staying at the Ramada because of their park/sleep deal and I'm sure others will find the deal you did. The Doubletree is next door, so you could probably pick up folks from there as well.

 

I did this several years ago for folks doing park/sleeps at the Fairfield.

I think we're all ready to go. I still have to make a cruise bus reservation to get there, but I do have a flight back to Boston.
