Cashing Travellers Cheque while onboard

I have read that NCL charges $10.00 for currency exchanges onboard. However, I am wondering if they will charge me the $10.00 fee to cash a USD travelers cheque for USD Cash? I want to take traveler cheques, as my bank doesn't charge for them, and will need to cash them onboard to use in the casino and for tipping.

We've always taken travellers cheques (all 8 cruises with Princess and Celebrity). Never, have we been charged a fee for cashing them. We've even taken Cdn travellers cheques. They do an exchange rate but no fee for cashing them. Can't imagine NCL would do this different.

Nope. I've never paid a fee to cash them on NCL or Princess. All they ever ask me to do is write down my cabin number next to my signature. I've always gone to Guest Services to cash them, but I understand they'll also cash them at the Casino.

My bank doesn't charge me a fee for them either, so using travelers cheques is a no-brainer. It sure beats 1) traveling with a big wad of cash, and 2) paying the ATM fee, and 3) never having to deal with a possibly sketchy ATM.
