Hi does anybody know if you need to have any dollars on board the ship or is it a case of everything goes on an account and you pay at the end of the cruise?

cheers

No need to have cash on board except perhaps a few loose bills to tip room service if you are so inclined otherwise everything just goes on your sailing card.

Everything is cashless but you can use dollars in the casino and for tips etc. I brought small dollor bills in the form of 1,5,10,20's and a few 50's just to clear room account towards the end.

Yes, everything goes on the card. But to clarify, you do not have a choice. Staff onboard can not take cash for drinks, specialty rest, photos, etc.

Only exception might be a occasional tip and casino. And ashore of course.
