Iheartcruisin' Posted July 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2014 I get deathly sick on tenders. I am a little confused and have read the tender to Belize is anywhere from 15 to 35 minutes long. Could someone tell me the correct answer?

JimAOk1945 Posted July 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2014 It takes about 20 minutes. Some people find that it helps if they sit where they can have fresh air and look strait ahead at the horizon.
dz63 Posted July 20, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 20, 2014 The tender from the ship to the shore was approx. 20 minutes. The photo below will give you a rough idea how far the Belize terminal is from the ship. The Carnival Legend as seen from the shore.
Iheartcruisin' Posted July 21, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Thanks everyone for your response. I was concerned if it was longer than 15-20 minutes even the Dramine, ear drops and pressure bands that I use wouldn't help me. But I think I can survive that long. :o
TXSAIL Posted July 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) The tender has never really bothered us but I believe if you are affected the worst part is the up and down motion while it is still tied up, so maybe for you last one on might be good. Also, we have had the large tenders and the small ones, but I like the small as they do not hold as many people and they get underway quicker....photo of a smaller one.. free image uploading Edited July 21, 2014 by TXSAIL
JCO4O1 Posted July 21, 2014 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2014 (edited) I'll agree with 15-20 minutes. Here is a photo from last week. Navigator is on the left and Magic on the right. The picture was taken just before arrival in Belize City, and kept wide (no zoom). Edited July 21, 2014 by JCO4O1
CintiPam Posted July 21, 2014 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2014 Are the tenders supplied by the port at Belize rather than the ship? (I hope not.)
TXSAIL Posted July 22, 2014 #9 Share Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) They are all locally owned. We have never had a problem on any of them..Just enjoy the ride...
