noslen3333 Posted July 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2014 I know that the current smoking areas are subject to change after Oct. 9th but I am curious about where they are now. We are booked on the Oct/Nov 2015 cruises to S. Carribean. I am most curious about the "enchancing" of my cruise. I don't smoke but my husband does and we have always had a balcony as a "fall back" area to relax and smoke. I have also been in the open air areas lately and they have not been relaxing. They have been normally on deck 10 in the open air with no cover, no tables, no chairs and ashtrays that I think increase the chance of fire because they are small and shallow and over flowing. So, I hope that Carnival will continue it's policy of "enhancements" and provide a relaxing and safe environment for us all to enjoy our cruise. I have been on the Triumph before they upgraded it. Would someone please let me know where the current smoking areas are and if on an upper outside deck, if it is covered with tables and chairs. Thanks ya'll. Formack Posted February 2, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2015 I was on the Triumph in June. There was a bar right outside the comedy club that was smoking, the casino had a smoking section, on the deck right above Guy's burger joint there was a smoking area(chairs, tables, partially covered) also we could smoke on our balcony. I heard they may not let you on the balcony's anymore? Not sure. We set sail in June 2015 on the triumph again!
jaydubya Posted February 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2015 Copy and paste the following from the Carnival website to see maps of the smoking areas on each ship. http://m.carnival.com/~/media/CCLUS/Images/pdf/carnival-ship-approved-smoking-areas-pdf.ashx
