RCI Southbound Report and video - an incredible vacation

We are taking a similar land and cruise in June next year. How did you pack and what was the luggage situation when you went? Did you have a separate luggage for the land part and then the cruise part? Was all your luggage with you all of the time?

 

The luggage was handled very smoothly for the entire vacation. Royal Caribbean arranged for our suitcases to be delivered directly to our rooms at the various land stops. We were instructed to have our suitcases packed and ready outside our hotel rooms at a specific time each evening for pick up. One word of caution. Several members of our traveling party including my wife bought a souvenir Ulu knife before boarding and packed it in a suitcase. Security confiscated the knives and held them until the cruise was over.
