Morning,

does anybody know whether you need to take beach towels for the pool areas. I had an email from ncl saying they were complimentary but cannot find any further info on this.

Are the towels any good or is it best to take your own.

Is there a charge aboard

Cheers

You will have beach towels for every passenger in the cabin waiting for you. You can take that towel to pool area, beaches in ports etc and you can leave wet/dirty towel either in your cabin for room steward to replace or take it to the towel exchange station on pool deck and replace it there for a clean one.

For extra towels there is $25 deposit that won't be charged if you return the towel during the cruise. Same fee applies to lost towels (while in reality we have had to ask our room steward for replacement bech towels more than once so dishonest person could claim that the lost towel just wasn't replaced in the cabin and avoid the charge that way).

And I forgot to mention: the beach towels provided are good enough. Depending on the shipthey might be a little bit worn but overall just fine.

Yep. If you go to the beach towel shack to get one they will take your cabin card info and fill out a slip. When you bring the towel back make sure they throw the slip away;).
