rochelle_s Posted July 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 26, 2014 In all seriousness if you were asking for a comparison between inside and ocean view cabins and how they are for three people it would help to have a little more information, such as the particular ship you are interested in and the exact cabin category. That being said, in general there is not a great deal of difference between the two types of cabins size why. But there are cases in pretty much every category where an odd cabin or two might stand out for whatever reason. I know this is not much help as is but if you gave us more specifics perhaps we would provide a more detailed response. Rochelle
SeaShark Posted July 26, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 26, 2014 There are no ocean views in any NCL inside cabins. Your welcome :D Rochelle Probably why the OP used the word "or" in their question. "How are NCL inside cabins for 3 or the ocean view?"
SeaShark Posted July 26, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 26, 2014 In all seriousness, it really depends on the situation. 3 people where one of the people is a small child results in a different answer than if all three are adults. One thing to remember about cabins on a ship: Generally, they are designed for two (2) occupants (double occupancy). Some will have the ability to add a 3rd guest or even a 4th. However, the design is for two. And while the answer is "Yes, the extra guests can fit", that answer doesn't address the impact on the comfort level of all of the guests in the room. It is somewhat similar to the bench seat in an automobile. They are designed for two people: the driver and the passenger. However, we all know that it is possible to squeeze a third person onto a bench seat (and a fourth if they are small enough!). And while that might be do-able for a quick trip to the store or even across town, I don't think anyone would want to put that many people onto the seat for a cross country trip. ;)
