LibbyJanesMommy Posted July 31, 2014 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2014 I'm guessing the answer to this is probably no, but is there any way to transfer my booking from my private TA to Carnival? Thanks for the help
SadieN Posted July 31, 2014 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2014 There is, but it's hard. You need a very valid excuse ie the TA is not responding to you.
Isa65 Posted July 31, 2014 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2014 Yes you can. But the TA must be willing to release the booking. Or you can call Carnival and explain why you need to transfer back.
golfadj Posted July 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2014 Unless your TA is really messing up they own the booking and not likely Carnival will take it away from them.
SadieN Posted July 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted July 31, 2014 If you are not within final payment you can cancel the TA booking and rebook with Carnival. Check to see what fees the TA would impose for cancelling.

Would they be penalized if they booked ES even if they rebook the same exact cruise? Bill

SadieN Posted August 1, 2014 #9 Share Posted August 1, 2014 Depends on the current rates. Of course But if the TA is truly horrible it's best to cut your losses Hopefully it's just lousy service, and not a case of the TA not forwarding payments.
