Gem deck question

On Deck 8 there is a gap between the sets of lifeboats. Does anyone know what is in that gap? Thinking of booking a room on Deck 9 over this gap.

I think you are talking about the middle section above the atrium with restaurants, Blue Lagoon and Moderno for now, O'Sheehan's after the next dry dock.

Not sure what you mean exactly. There is a "gap" in front of the series of lifeboats on deck 8 on either side. Because of the lifeboats - I suspect there are closets/storage areas for emergency equipment and supplies. When you look at the deck 9 plans there are about 5 cabins that appear to be right above that space on either side.

 

I don't think you have to worry about it.

Thank you. That is the space I was talking about. I was concerned if there would be a noise problem.
