Bermuda - Norwegian Dawn - price question

After looking at the Dawn and the Breakaway, there didn't seem much difference in price but ultimately I have decided on the Dawn for a few reasons. I live in Mass, so that's a benefit of traveling, we are active in our early 60s but still not interested in planks, watersides, etc, and the shows seem to be something we would like. We do like the casino so I am hoping the Dawn has a good one.

Anyway, the price of the August 29th cruise and the September 5th cruise is quite a difference (the Sept. 5th much higher) I would think there would be more kids on the August 29th cruise because of the holiday therefore more demand and the prices would come down after Labor Day. Maybe I am missing something. I haven't booked yet and wonder now that I don't have to worry about a flight if there is a time to get the best price. What is the latests anyone has booked? Thanks, Pam

DH and I are on the August 29 Dawn cruise and have been watching the prices since we booked last November. Prices are higher now than when we booked and actually have just increased in price this week. We've been watching all the August departures and haven't seen any big price drops for any of the weeks.

If the price now works I would book it - from what I've been watching and read from others hear Bermuda cruises don't often have large price drops.

I have booked 12 hrs before boarding once . Also a few days before a couple of times . I have had cruises sell out and had to stay home . It is risky but can pay off waiting till last minute .

We are on the September, 5th, sailing, and we've watched the prices SKYROCKET since purchasing months ago.

There are regular balconies (not suites or mini-suites) that are now about the same price as some of the TOP suites were (not including the Garden Villa).

And oceanview cabins aren't all that much less anymore.

I'm sure they have dynamic pricing, so as supply goes down, prices go up. Perhaps at the very last minute, any remaining cabins will be priced less, if there's much to choose from...?
