Inverness on your own tour

Can anybody tell me where the "Inverness on your own" tour from the British Isle sailing drops you off in town? We are looking to meet family while in Inverness. They do not have a car, so they cannot meet us at the ship.

We did a great ship's tour that went to Inverness and Loch Ness. Inverness was not the highlight of the tour. The scenery at Loch Ness was fantastic.

I agree. We took a boat ride across Loch Ness to Urquhart Castle that is not to be missed. Enjoy your cruise. We did it in 2013 and loved it.

Inverness isn't a large city, and all within a short distance of the centre. Why not arrange to meet them at the railway station at a time you will be in town as the drop of point could vary from tour to tour depending on any traffic redtrictions

The bus will usually drop you of Ardross Street outside the Northern meeting park.

 

Your family will have no problem meeting you as it's only a few minutes from the town centre.

Thanks. That was the info we needed. We're not too interested in the sights around town. We can plan on metting in the center of town. Inverness is our last stop on a VERY busy cruise. Just kicking back with family will be all we need. We were not able to make it over there when she got married three years ago, and we've only seen pictures of their (18 month) daughter.
