Seabournites, Please Advice on Lux River Cruising

This side by side docking was kind of charming when we were in Austria and Germany. There were actually three river ships one time and two times with two ships where we had to go through them to get to our ship. What is wrong with that? We enjoyed seeing the other ships and were met with very friendly crew as we passed through. If this kind of thing bothers you, then perhaps you should rethink river cruising. There are only so many places to dock and sometimes this double/triple docking occurs. I thought it was fun.

You get to see what the other ship is like.

There is a guy on cruise critic called Mike Preisman who puts excellent reviews of his cruises on his own website. He and his wife have done a river cruise with AMA. Have a look at thepreismans.com
