We will be on the Jewel for the 12/18 to 12/25 cruise.

We are two couples traveling together. We all live in Palm Beach County, FL and drive down to the Port of Miami.

We have cruised NCL many times, and look forward to being on the new NCL Jewel. I have heard very good things about this ship.

Hi Frank and Lee - looking forward to meeting you guys.

Dave and Jim here in Greenville SC. And this is our very first cruise so quite excited about it to say the least!

Jim's parents live in Lauderdale so we are going a couple of days early to visit them and will be them for Xmas day after docking.

We are 51 and 44. How about you guys?

My partner and I just returned from a 12 day cruise on the Jewel.

It was wonderful cruise on a VERY nice ship. FOD parties every night.

If you have sailed on other NCL ships the food is very similar, but the Jewel is much nicer then even her sisters Dawn and Star.

Have a great cruise!

BTW..there must have been at least 25 other gay guys on board.

The hotel director, CD and assistant CD were all very gay friendly. No one ever had to request fod parties.

Good lucking crew? You bet.

Hotel Director, some officers and all of the dancers were extremely hot and very friendly.

You will have a great time on this ship.

PS pay the extra 15 per day for the sauna at Bora Bora. It is worth every penny.

Sorry to say we're not going to enjoy the carribean with you, but we were on the same sailing as MarkAndrews, and wanted to give a quick confirmation to everything he said.

That said, MarkAndrews was a driving force in helping us all get to know each other! He & his partner were both fun guys who were very pleasant and social.

They hosted Sail-Away parties on departure day, and also the second-last day of the cruise (well...those are the ones my partner & I were invited to).

The staff is very gay-friendly, and there are some definate "lookers".

Watch your Freestyle Daily for the FoD meetings, and be sure to go. There are always some timid people who show up, pop their heads in the door to Star bar, and would appreciate being made to feel welcome.

My partner & I tried to attend all of the FoD meetings, and we then spent time making sure everyone knew each other. We had quite a nice little community going, and it was very nice to see a recognizable face in the halls, casino, shore excursions, etc.

I don't know to what extent we'll stay in touch with the people we met, but we feel our cruise enjoyment was definately increased for having met them.

Cheers MarkAndrew & T!
