PunkiC Posted August 29, 2014 Author #251 Share Posted August 29, 2014 Here is a picture of us with the infamous Lord Jeffrey Archer. DH is wearing the Armani jacket in question. ;) This was a truly wonderful cruise. :)

maz48 Posted August 30, 2014 #253 Share Posted August 30, 2014 He looks different from how I remember him. I guess he is just older, like me:rolleyes:
PunkiC Posted August 30, 2014 Author #254 Share Posted August 30, 2014 He's 74, but really in quite decent shape. DH, who goes to the gym every single day when we cruise, said that Lord Archer was up there about half of the time. I did not, however, see him on the dance floor which is a lot more fun place to get exercise than the gym. ;)
PunkiC Posted September 20, 2014 Author #255 Share Posted September 20, 2014 (edited) This morning one of our lovely table mates sent us a video of the cruise. It is so lovely. It will create some wonderful memories. I need to learn how to do this! http://animoto.com/play/HQIJEsCYRcXHq8zvHL0TEw It gives a good idea what life is like on the Queen Victoria. PunkiC Posted September 21, 2014 Author #259 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Great video 😄 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Yes, Julie did a fabulous job. She is an inspiration for me. We are doing a Princess Mini-Cruise from Vancouver, B.C., Canada, down to LAX tomorrow and I will take a lot of pictures and give it a try when I get back. Of course, we won't have enough time in three days to develop the wonderful sense of community that we enjoyed on the Queen Victoria. Our dinner mates were so great that we might be spoiled for life. :p

Do you know if it can be done without the flashing lights and continuous sparkle effects? A great way to assist and reinforce the memories of a wonderful voyage in the years to come. Please pass on my congratulations. Thank you again :) Edited September 21, 2014 by pepperrn
PunkiC Posted September 21, 2014 Author #262 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Thank you for sharing, very well edited together, super photos, and great video clips. A great way to assist and reinforce the memories of a wonderful voyage in the years to come. Please pass on my congratulations. Thank you again :) I have no idea how it is done, or what is possible, but, if I remember to take enough pictures on my little cruise this week, I will give it a go. Generally speaking technology is pretty simple if you have the patience to just work through it step by step and realize that all of your mistakes are reversible. All the years I worked, I had staff to take care of all of the details, but since I have retired I have discovered that doing things like printing badges, invitations and envelopes is really pretty easy, so I am confident I can tackle a video. If not, I could always send Julie my pictures and beg her to help me. :p
Underwatr Posted September 21, 2014 #263 Share Posted September 21, 2014 I thought the juxtaposition of short videos with the still photos was a great touch. At first I was wondering how they animated the traffic on the bridge... :o
