Website now charging in £?

So I go to make a final payment and my amount owing is now in POUNDS??? I don't want to make the final now as I'm scared I will be charged in pounds and not USD. And it's NOT the converted equivalent....ie owning 1000 USD is now owing 1000£.

 

Anyone else having an issue with this?

I just checked my booking and it definitely says $ next to the amount. I think you're doing the right thing. I'd call before I pay!

I concur. Checked my own and defiantly in $. Calling is the best course of action.

She just got back to me. Said DO NOT PAY ONLINE!!! It's apparently a problem some people have been having. She logged in and it said $$ but mine clearly says £. I tried logging in on IE and it's coming up in $$. Went back in through Chrome - still says £. Maybe it's a google thing? In any event, if this is happening to you do not pay online as you will be charged in £.

Maybe it is a Chrome thing. I'm in Safari and I didn't have the problem!! Good thing you didn't pay! :eek:

I had an incidence of this several weeks ago -- for no reason when I logged in to my account, the balance due was expressed in pounds.

I logged out, rebooted and it was fine. Just a randon bizarre glitch, I guess.
