Mercury Posted August 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2014 We will be cruising on the NCL Jade early October. I know that there is unlikely to be many kids at this time of year. My DD is 7 years old and my DS is 5 years old. Will they be allowed to be in the same age category on the ship? Does anyone know of a link to the Splash Academy programmes so that I can see what activities are offered? Thanks in advance!
mjkacmom Posted August 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted August 19, 2014 They will not be allowed in the same group. NCL is very strict on this - even by a single day. However, if the groups are small, they might combine them for some activities.
alise007 Posted August 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted August 21, 2014 probably depends on how small a group of kids....we cruised the Dawn end of Sept from Bos-Que and pulled the kids out of school. There were 10 total kids on board so they were all together! They will have open play times where the groups can mingle especially on port days. I think I have photos of the kids schedule if you give me your email. We just got off the Star Baltic Cruise.
Mercury Posted August 22, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Thanks everyone! Alise, we were on the Silhouette two years ago (also in Sept) and there were only about 15 kids on board so they also combined all the age groups. I am hoping this will also happen on the Jade cruise. I would love to have the dailies. My email add is: gina robinson @ mweb . co .za (without any spaces). Thanks so much!
