Wildlife Cruise in Seward

Has anyone done the 9-hour wildlife and glacier cruise out of Seward with Backcountry Safaris? Doesn't seem much more expensive than the Major Marine tour and much smaller boat. Also, one assumes it will get further out of Resurrection Bay because of the longer time out. Just haven't read anything on this one.

Backcountry Safaris is not a Seward company that I see on any business listing??? It is a booking agent??? If so, they are going to put you on Mariah probably?? But smaller boats usually don't go as fast so a 9 hour tour, probably won't get you out to the Northwestern glacier??? (Kenai Fjords tours puts their fastest boat on this run). Get a route map and inquire if they RUN the tour??? Then you can get better answers. :)

I called and checked on Backcountry Safaris and they are just a booking agent. You can call Saltwater Lodge direct and book with them,very nice people with personlized service unlike others.:)http://www.alaskasaltwaterlodge.com/

So being that they are a booking agent, I would suggest you direct book with the tour your want. Major Marine, Kenai fjords tours, Renown.
