Does Carnival still offer Drink Coupons??

They no longer carry them. You now have to purchase either cruise cash or bar credits in $25 denominations. I was sorry to see them go, I used to purchase them as gifts for my cruise companions. Both the cruise cash and bar credits are non-refundable so if you choose to purchase them don't purchase more than you know you will use. The amount of the cash or bar credit will appear as a credit on your sail and sign account.:(

if you buy the cruise cash instead of the bar cash you can go to the casino and put what you don't spend in your account and spin a couple times the cash out. Bar credits can only be used for drinks.

They don't sell them anymore but we did have some leftover and were able to use them on the Liberty this month. So if you do have them hold onto them and use them next time you are on a ship.

Any bar coupons you have left MUST be used by Feb 2015. I had some and had it verified as the first time around they didn't give enough notice when they discontinued them. So they changed it to Feb 2015.

The discount that the coupons used to carry is gone, it's penny for penny now....The only reason to buy them is as a gift that you're willing to see donated to Carnival if it goes unused....

Anyone who is on their second cruise gets a free drink coupon to be used at lunch or brunch.

Surprisingly, they did not do this for us. It was a drink for a coupon.

I was advised last week that the bar coupon

will be able to be used til December 31 ,2017.

I don't think there is confusion. Way back we could buy the drink coupons (and I loved them) but some never used them all up because they didn't have a follow up cruise.

The other and newer coupons cruisers get must be used on the cruise they are now on, and cannot be carried over.

According to Mary with Carnival on Funville, the drink coupons are good until Feb. 1, 2018. Here is a link to where she stated this.
