jmrothermel Posted August 31, 2014 #26 Share Posted August 31, 2014 How sad. My kids loved those chocolates and looked forward to them nightly. At least we know before we go now! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Fat Paul Posted August 31, 2014 #27 Share Posted August 31, 2014 Most of the cheese platter went to waste the last time we had a full suite. The fruit platter was well received and we enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries. I don't tend to care for pillow chocolates or towel animals. ckrobyn Posted August 31, 2014 #30 Share Posted August 31, 2014 No chocolate on our pillows in the Royal Suite on the Adventure in February of this year. The suite chocolates were Ghirardelli - the non suite chocolates were Andes. Either way, it was a nice touch that I miss.

squadron Posted August 31, 2014 #33 Share Posted August 31, 2014 I haven't seen them for a few years now. They weren't good quality chocolate - more of a chocolate confection - so no loss by not having them. Most were probably thrown out so great if a few dollars per sailing is saved and certainly no one on a cruise needs a chocolate snack at bedtime! I feel the same about towel animals - maybe once a cruise or if there are children in the cabin. Otherwise don't take up the attendant's time and use more towels that need to be laundered. Jasp 0401 Posted August 31, 2014 #34 Share Posted August 31, 2014 No Chocolates in GS on our last 2 cruises. Never worried us as we never ate them any way.
