Nitemare Posted September 27, 2014 #26 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Plymouth Rock leads many "Least Interesting Tourist Attraction" lists on the internet. It's just a rock inside a colonnade. In addition, it truly has zero historical significance.
camasidaho Posted October 2, 2014 Author #27 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Yahoo. Getting ready to leave Boston. We did Lexington then concord and then salem. Had the car back at 2 and on the freedom trail at 230. The kids made it to flanuel hall and lost interest and energy so we were back on ship by 445. Had time for the old north church but kids said no. I had gotten them up too early. So while you can spend a month here or longer you can do a good visit in 1 day and see alot. Salem witch museum program was slightly week but the presentation Road To Revolution was outstanding out at the minute man visitor center

camasidaho Posted October 3, 2014 Author #29 Share Posted October 3, 2014 So do I. My kids travel a bit more than their classmates. This is their 3rd cruise this year. They grew up traveling so sometimes their reaction is a bit more typical teenager ish. The roll of the eyes and the I don't want to see another dumb historical site comment.
