Time on the RCCL website for ports

I am looking at doing a private excursion in Barbados which leaves at 9 AM.

 

Our itinerary on the RCCL website states 8 AM arrival- is that ship time or island time?

 

We are leaving Bayonne, NJ so I figure that we will be on Daylight Saving time in Dec so 8 AM DST is 9 AM in Barbados so this excursion would be a not be feasible for us.

Tour operators on the islands know when ships are due to arrive. When they give you a meet up time, they are factoring in time for passengers to debark from the ship. You indicated the ship will arrive at 8 am and the tour is at 9 am, you will fine in meeting them before 9 am.
