Specialty Dining Package & Booking Chef's Table

I'll be on Vision soon and notice that the Chef's Table is not listed on Royal's website for pre booking. Is this normal? I'm guessing one would have to wait until they are onboard to book, correct?

I've heard people are offered specialty dining packages once they board. Can we eat at the same restaurant two or three times or do they have to be different restaurants as part of the package? What were the package deals?

How much is the chefs table again? We will be on the serenade of the seas? Would my 15 y/o daughter be able to go or is it really just an adult affair?

It was conceived as an adults-only experience by Royal Caribbean.

People have reported here that guests have shown up with children in tow, and it spoiled the dinner, completely changing the atmosphere.

RC will agree to anything to get your money.

They would probably let her go, but understand that a good portion of the price is to pay for the wine pairing, which she can not take part in. I am not sure how other people would feel seeing a teenager at the table as it is meant as an upscale adult dinner.

On our last cruise and we were told our 15yr old wouldn't enjoy chefs table as it is designed with more adults in mind.On hearing it was about food being matched with wine our daughter didn't want to go.We went and had a wonderful time and were glad we didn't take her because she wouldn't of enjoyed it at all.It was a very enjoyable night but most teenagers wouldn't want to sit at a table listening to talk about food and wine pairing. When we went our dinner went from 6.30pm until 11.30pm.
