Deluxe owners suite liquor policy

Hi

My wife and I are sailing on the gem next fall and have been thinking of upgrading to the deluxe owners suite

I see that this suite comes with 3 liquor bottles and sodas. As neither my wife or I drink spirits or wine ( love beers of course ) we were wondering is there a policy that would allow for substitution of the spirits for beers

Also are the in room sodas unlimited and free

Have just realised that having 3 unwanted bottles of spirits would be a wonderful way to make lots of new friends on the cruise:)

If you book the Owners Suite you will have access to the Concierge Department before you travel. They will send you a list of all the suite

amenities. I have been dealing with a gal named Stephanie Ros at NCL and she has been very helpful. We wanted to substitute one of the three bottles of booze for something that wasn't even listed & she made it happen. So I imagine if you would like the fridge stocked with beer in lieu of the liquor it will be doable. The sodas, etc. will be replenished as you use them (no charge). You even get a list of pillow types to choose from! Enjoy.....

The trade rate will not be good. Usually for folks that want to swap for wine, it is bottle to bottle trade. That is, one bottle of wine for one liter of spirits. Not a very good trade. Wine they trade is about $28 per bottle, spirits $80 per bottle. Better off to save the spirits and take them home for friends and buy your beer on board. Soda/mixer/water are replaced as used.

I traded the 3 bottles of liquor for beer and I only got 2 six packs. Not 2 sixpacks for each bottle, just 2 sixpacks total. What a rip off.
