Buyng Wine...

I'm not sure at this time what port in Vancouver BC (Canada Place or Ballentyne) were are Cruising out of on the Jewel Of The Seas on 18 September 2015. Can we purchase wine at either of these port terminals before boarding the ship?

You will be at Ballantyne and there is not liquor store particularly close to that pier. If you could tell us what hotel you are staying at we could direct you to a store nearby your hotel. If flying in on the day of the cruise there is a liquor store in the airport terminal but it can be a bit pricey...but probably not as expensive as having a cab wait for you while you run into a liquor store.

You should be at Canada Place for all 2015 departures, as it's been reported that Ballantyne is closing to cruise traffic after this season.

 

Nearest BC Liquor is quite convenient - less than 500 yards away inside the Harbour Centre.

OOOPs, I missed the 2015 entirely and yes, Ballantyne is supposed to close at the end of this season.:o
