Turbo Cruza Posted September 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Hi Guys, Firstly thank you to all, its great forum. I'm cruising on the Spirit on Oct 8th (family of 5) and was wondering if there is a simple pre cruise checklist available. Thanks in advance :)
kate59 Posted September 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 17, 2014 Have you checked your 'booking' documentation on the Carnival website? There should be your passage Contract and FAQ. I know Princess have one but never looked for the Carnival one.
rabbit1971 Posted September 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2014 Hi, The carnival australia page has some great tips on it pre cruise, ideas such as using an old magnetic strip card ( ie shop card or expired credit card) to open /shut your room safe. I think you will find it under the now you have booked section . We sailed last october on the spirit and had an absolute blast. I am happy to answer any questions you might have. Cheers maree
Turbo Cruza Posted October 2, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Thanks guys, find what I need. Side Note: where would the best place be to purchase reef socks for kids? 6 sleeps to go :)
Royalty X Posted October 2, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 2, 2014 Try Big W. They should be getting their new stock in now. They've got men's, women's and children's sizes and they're super cheap!
kate59 Posted October 3, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 3, 2014 yes Big W, Kmart Target etc - although probably not much cheaper than on board but you can proably get better colours. If they have some old sandshoes or jogger they are probably ok also as I bought some for my first Carnival cruise and actually only wore them once and the sand gets annoying in them so have to have thongs to wear as well. Royalty X Posted October 3, 2014 #7 Share Posted October 3, 2014 When I bought some on board, they cost me about $35-$40 a pair. My Big W ones cost me $8 and are way more comfortable. :)

kimmy176 Posted January 8, 2015 #15 Share Posted January 8, 2015 This checklist was so useful. I wish I'd taken a laundry marker though as my kids got a white tshirt which they had their friends from kids club sign (with markers supplied by April, the Circle C Co-ordinator) but when the kids got back to the room they also wanted our steward to sign it but we had nothing for him to sign with. shorti+sharn Posted May 5, 2016 #17 Share Posted May 5, 2016 Can anyone tell me if the walls/doors on the Carnival Spirit can sustain magnets to hang up hats, lanyards and the like to keep them up and off the minimal bench space that we have ;) Thanks!
