I just got home from the Take in the Vista. Lots of fun! At the 3pm cruise giveaway they said the cruise was for an 11day cruise out of NYC. Obviously I have no confirmation but I wonder if that's the repo. I was there for the 1pm and 2pm drawings and there was no mention of whet ppl were winning. I was hoping the 11 day was the inaugural but I see someone already posted its a 2day and then 8 day.

 

Does anybody know if only the 2 day will get inaugural perks, whatever those are. Thanks

Trust me. There is still a surplus of available inventory. They may not be in the most desirable locations, but the ship is nowhere near filled.

An 11 day cruise ends on December 3 which is a Saturday. Perfect day to start it's regular schedule from Florida or wherever.

I wonder if they will let the passengers on the TA that are doing a B2B with the two night stay onboard over that lapse. They did with the Magic so some might expect them to hold this "tradition."

 

I am hoping so as if it is a short CTN I will make the TA a B2B.

We still don't know if the dates on Carnival's website are reliable. As per the Carnival Vista Getaway Giveaway (http://www.carnivalvistasweeps.com/) and those winning a complimentary Carnival Vista cruise at the event in New York, we know there is an 11 day cruise departing on November 7, 2016. This information is not reflected on Carnival's website.

 

FWIW, Fort Lauderdale was deployed to the alternating 6 and 8 day itineraries long before Miami was even brought into consideration.
