lilly_and_hunter Posted September 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2014 Husband and I are casual gamblers. I played the slots every night. I always had good luck on the "Lucky Lemmings" machine. It's a video machine. We also played roulette. We left the cruise with more money than we started with. We really enjoyed the casino. We don't play black jack.... So I can't answer that. The tables always has a good amount of people sitting at them. Have fun! I'd take that exact cruise again in a heartbeat. We cruised it in February. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

It's a video machine. This "Lucky Lemmings" slot machine...does it have bonus rounds? :D I love the games with the bonus rounds. Did you find that the casino was always too crowded? I heard that it is pretty small and that people sometimes had to stand around and wait to play some slots because it would be too full and not enough games. What are your thoughts? lilly_and_hunter Posted September 21, 2014 #4 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Yes, bonus rounds! That's why I liked it so much. Seemed like longer play time with my money. We never felt Iike it was crowded. We always had fun in the casino. We spent plenty of time there each evening. The casino is closed at times when in port. You'll see the casino hours on the daily activity sheet. Coming home with more money than we left with was awesome!! Fun times on the Sky! Do they have the "normal" slots that you find on most of the ships: Goldfish, Penguins and so on? I was so disappointed that the new ships didn't have them (Getaway) on our last cruise. :( Oops, mitsugirly.... Thought I was replying to OP. You surely know the casino rules while in port! VideoTech Posted September 21, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 21, 2014 First time on a cruiseNorwegian Sky 4 days Bahamas Sept 29 Any casino players out there. How is the casino on the Norwegian Sky? Are slots tight or loose and what level are the poker games? The slot machines (including Video Poker) on all cruise ships tend to have lower payback % then those in land casinos. Makes sense...where are you going to take your gambling business if you don't like it? That doesn't mean you can't have fun, and it doesn't mean you won't find a few machines that are better than others. Every casino has a mix of machines, good and bad. And there's always a chance of a jackpot no matter what the payback % of the machine is. What really IS good on any Norwegian ship is the players club, Casinos At Sea. They seem to have the best perks and comps for anyone beyond a casual player. And once you have joined CAS, you'l receive cruise offers from them (based on your play), and can book future cruises through them if your play merits.
