Britannia TV Advert

I just wondered what people felt about the new Britannia TV Advert - although I have a feeling it's an old advert that's been re-hashed!

 

Obviously there are different perspectives on such things, and different opinions are good but... Personally I find it quite off putting! I know one advert can't appeal to every person, but it seems very cliched and quite stereotyped showing what the "modern day cruiser" looks like. All a bit BTECH Marketing coursework.

 

I just think that with such an expanding market, and more cruise liners being built, now is the time to be getting new customers. A bit of a missed opportunity really.

 

Or maybe I'm just not in the "target market"!

If you read the Celebrity site you'll see that a lot of people are not happy with their rebranding of 'Modern Luxury' either . I suppose, that, like Celebrity, they won't please everyone - they'll alienate loyal cruisers to attract new ones. :rolleyes:
