Cruisin 4 Ever Posted September 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2014 Does anyone know if they have started to update the rooms on the Victory? Someone posted a while back that they thought they were starting the room renos in advance of drydock this fall
CruiseCrazyCouple0611 Posted September 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Just got off the ship on the 9/15. No updates. Not a fan of this ship at all! I hope you have a better experience if you choose this one than we did. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Oakman Posted September 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Just off yesterday, and nothing has been updated. We were in an Ocean Suite (7250), and it did have a flat screen TV however. Like the above post, definitely not our favorite cruise either.

momonthego17 Posted September 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2014 DH and I cruised on Victory Sept 1 and we loved it! Service was great, our room kept clean and ice bucket full, food was tasty (Pizza Pirate on Lido Aft is yummy, try the prosciutto!) and the Cheers program worked out well. Shows were fun (Vroom really stood out) and I lost money in the casino:mad:. Oh well, can't have everything. The ports were fantastic, loved HMC, GT and spent a little time at Senor Frogs in Nassau (never been there before, very lively). Unless something really bad happens like turbulent seas, nasty weather, no a/c in your cabin:eek:, I think every day on a cruise beats a day at work. We will be on this ship this week and would also like to know what's wrong with it!!! I thing going away and having a few drinks is better than being at work or at home doing nothing!....can't expect much for not paying much!!! Noremacc Posted September 22, 2014 #7 Share Posted September 22, 2014 I didn't find anything wrong with the ship in August when we sailed on the Victory. We had an amazing time! Yes, the ship is a little older, and we got a chuckle out of the pink bathrooms, but after the first day, who cares, you are cruising!! It is still a beautiful ship, and it had lots of energy and fun when we were on it. I wouldn't hesitate to sail on the Victory again!
