pusywillow Posted September 21, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2014 This is my first Carnival Cruise. Can someone please explain the procedure for muster drill? Is it held outside? Do you have to take your lifejacket? My bf cannot do stairs or stand long periods of time, so we want to be at our muster station before they shut down the elevators. Thanks! firemanbobswife Posted September 21, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2014 No life jacket, you stand outside at the lifeboats. If you have problems let a crew member know and they may be able to accommodate you with a chair or move you to a different location.

chengkp75 Posted September 21, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 21, 2014 If you'd like, you can go to the guest services desk upon embarking, and notify them of your BF's difficulties. They can assign you to the special needs muster station, which is generally indoors, and has seating. Usually, a nurse is stationed there as well, just in case.
