Conquest Muster Drill

This is my first Carnival Cruise. Can someone please explain the procedure for muster drill? Is it held outside? Do you have to take your lifejacket? My bf cannot do stairs or stand long periods of time, so we want to be at our muster station before they shut down the elevators. Thanks!

If you'd like, you can go to the guest services desk upon embarking, and notify them of your BF's difficulties. They can assign you to the special needs muster station, which is generally indoors, and has seating. Usually, a nurse is stationed there as well, just in case.

Good to know. Thanks!
