Show times

Not sailed with p&o before, do they have specific start times for the theatre shows in the evening ? Would second tilting be to late for the second show ?

 

Specifically Ventura on a European cruise if that makes a difference.

On the Oriana, the theatre show times were 8.30pm & 10.30pm. Which was exactly 2 hours after the start of each dinner sitting (in what will now be Club dining).

 

Which meant that there was loads of time to have dinner and get to the show. But be warned, if its anything like Oriana, the theatre gets filled up very quickly after dinner and there was generally not a lot of space left 30 to 15 minutes before show start.

On Azura a couple of weeks ago they also did 8.45 pm and 10.45 pm, and twice at 7.15 pm and 8.45 pm for some silly reason.

With 8:30 and 10:30 shows, as they last about 45 minutes, it is possible to see both shows if on Freedom dining and eat after the first show at 9:15ish.

I am sure the shows lasted for more than 45 minutes last time I sailed.

We were on Azura in May and booked late saver and was allocated second sitting which meant the shows were too late for me, but they shouldn't be a problem for night owls. I have booked select for my next cruise so that I can make sure I get an early sitting.
