Kids on Explorer

Has anyone traveled with kids on the Explorer, we are going in Septmeber and really want them to have fun. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated.:cool:

When are you going on the Explorer? What ages are your kids? We are sailing 9/11 and will have our 22 month old with us- can't wait to see how much fun she'll have!

We are traveling the next week. My kids are 4,8 and 10.

Take them to the club and if they like they will keep wanting to come back!

My daughter has always loved the Voyager class ships and has always found plenty to do. Not much for a two year old though.

We traveled with 6 kids on Explorer. THEY ALL LOVED IT! Truely had to drag them out of A.O. And 2 months later and they're still talking about it. We've already booked another one because they don't want to vacation anywhere else!

 

Misc. suggestions:

 

Got landyards before we left. BUT...A.O. will give each kid one for registering so no need to bring them.

 

If they have email addresses...print out business cards with name, address,email, etc. These were a BIG hit.

 

Show the older kids, the ship's layout in the brochure ~ BEFORE the trip! Teach them their cabin number and deck. Get them use to what level things are on (i.e. pool is deck 12, A.O. is Deck 11, etc.) It makes it much easier for them when they board.
