beshears Posted September 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 30, 2014 We have a few hours in Freeport and Nassau. What is the difference between the two ports. Since we are cruising, what would you recommend that we see/do at each port, to use our time wisely?
cruiseapril Posted September 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2014 The ports are very different. Freeport is an industrial port- so many cruisers just take a van taxi ($5 pp) to the village of Our Lucaya where there are many activities. There are also excursions to other places. Nassau is a busy port with many tourist attractions- we always do an excursion or walk to the British Colonial Hilton.
