I need suggestions please - for wheelchair accessible activities in Nassau, San Juan, Grand Turk, and St. Thomas. My brother who is wheelchair dependent will be cruising with us next month - we've been to all those ports but unfortunately did not pay much attention. Thanks!

I have not been to San Juan, but in St Thomas we booked an accessible snorkeling tour from a private company. Cruise lines do not seem to realize that people with mobility issues like to take excursions. Just google accesssible excursions in the port you are going to visit.

Old San Juan is a little difficult with a wheelchair. It is very hilly and alot of the streets are cobblestone. There is a free trolly that takes you to the forts. One of them has a wheelchair lift on the back. But be warned, there are NO tie-downs. If he can transfer at all, there are many taxi's that are full size cargo vans that will take you on an island tour. Hope this helps.
