Travelgrrl - If I were you I would have laughed it off and then found an opportune moment to "accidentally" stab him with my salad fork. ;-) Or perhaps asked him if he thought fat people were worse than rude people.

 

 

Oh, I do love this last sentence!!! I wish Travelgrrl had been armed with this answer!! He definitely would have had this reply coming. Sometimes it really floors me how people can intentionally hurt other people, and be so totally ignorant about it.

Oh I love this one. I need to remember it so I can use it. Not that I've ever encountered anybody that rude before. But it was good.

My favorite BBW has this to say, " Go big and bold, or don't go at all!" Her saying may not be exactly on topic, but cruising with her last fall was a delight and her positive attitude a joy to be around.

 

P.S. I didn't hear her mention anything about problems shipboard because of her size.
