Sue C. Posted April 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2004 We rolled our clothes for our cruise, as suggested on these boards. Well, our clothes were all wrinkled! What did we do wrong?? Thanks, Sue Mariner of the Seas - 4/11-4/18/

HollyB Posted May 1, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 1, 2004 Sue, I lay mine out in tissue or plastic sheets, have even cut bin liners, then roll them WITH the tissue/plastic. It traps the air and this, prevents creasing. Keep all your old dry cleaning bags, but as I say, black bin liners, cut up, does the trick too
madelinerose Posted May 1, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2004 Hi HollyB...Are your black bin liners equivalent to our black trash/garbage bags? HollyB Posted May 2, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 2, 2004 Yes! We put "RUBBISH" in the RUBBISH bin! You have trash and garbage ha ha! Funny, we do use the word garbage but more often say in a sentence like "I am talking a load of garbage!" I would never say "Put it in the garbage Either way, black bags, you got it! JanetMarie Posted May 2, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I was sorry to see that your clothes were wrinkled. Not good. I just want to reaffirm that I always, always, always roll our clothes and have never had a problem. Also by rolling, you are able to pack a bit more! If there are any wrinkles upon arrival, I hang those on the bathroom door and the steam from our showers dissipates any wrinkles right out! I hope you had a great vacation, tho!
