Just ran across this casting call for entertainers for Viking Ocean Cruises.

I wasn't expecting review-type entertainment with singing and dancing, etc. I got the impression that there wouldn't be conventional cruise ship entertainment. From the Viking website, "...live performances that bring you closer to the culture of our destinations" made me think more heritage-style performance that might be focused on the culture of the ports.

Anyway, hope they book some talented folks. I have really high expectations for this vacation and the longer I wait, the more exaggerated they get. Can't wait for April '15!

That's very interesting! I wasn't really thinking they would want that type of performer, either! Maybe they feel like they need to "step it up" a little to compete with other cruise line companies.
