Need help finding good quiet clean beach on Margarita Island

I believe most of the good beaches are on the other side of the island, maybe 45-60 drive each way.

The beach at the port is sometimes smelly depending on if the wind is blowing across the salt flats a certain way. The beach is so so crowded, unless there are 2 ships in that day. There are no beaches close by. They are all at least 45 minutes away. If you go to another beach you will be pestered by the vendors. If you are having a short day there you might want to think about skipping the beach and do some shopping. There is great shopping with good prices. You can also go see the mangroves. That is very enjoyable for many people and relaxing, too.
