Upgrading room?

Recommended Posts

Right now we are booked in a JS. We booked through RCCL's website and have already paid the cruise in full using my fiancé's credit card. The cruise isn't till February. I was thinking of surprising my fiancé and upgrading to a higher suite category. If I decide to upgrade to the higher suite, will I be charged just the difference in the prices or do I have to cancel and then re-book? If it will just charge me the difference can I pay the difference on a different credit card then we originally paid the cruise with? It won't be a surprise if I put it on his credit card and he has to pay for it :D

You would be charged the difference between what you have paid and the price of the new stateroom. You do not have to cancel and rebook. You can use a different credit card.
